I looked at the Oscar outfits from Sunday and saw that they were all pretty much boring and tired so I decided not to do a post on it. However, if any of you want to see my favorites and want a post on them let me know and I would be happy to write one. Now to this blog post. Nectar Clothing is another fast fashion boutique type of store. They have a couple locations in California in the Redwoods area and a fabulous website. So here are my picks!

What's Good : CHANEL Makeup...Duh

As of today I can officially say that I have tried and love Love LOVE CHANEL makeup. Nordstrom is having a beauty event and I went to get my makeup done by CHANEL. I insist that you go to the next one if you haven't gone before. I got my cuticles oiled, a facial and a ton of free samples (love samples). The man that did my makeup was a CHANEL makeup artist not a Nordstrom employee and he was amazing (his name was Jeremy). He talked to me about his makeup artist training in Paris when he was nineteen and we talked about makeup and fashion designers. He was just fantastic. I've had my makeup on since three and it is currently 11:38 and it's still on perfectly! And the packaging is to die for! These are the products that were used for my CHANEL look:

This felt amazing on my skin and it has a built in makeup base so it's a two in one!


Perfection Lumiere Long-Wear Flawless Fluid Makeup SPF 10 in "12 Beige Rose"

This has stayed on for almost 9 hours and I even have combination skin. Concealer didn't even have to be used which is totally awesome.


Poudre Douce Soft Pressed Powder

This powder does not make your face look cakey or powdery which is definitely a plus.


Joues Contraste Powder Blush in "Imprevu" (I'm pretty sure. It's lighter on the skin)

He used this bronzey blush color to contour my cheekbones and to add some color to the apples of my cheeks. It's really lovely.

Jeremy lined my upper and lower lash lines with this creamy eyeliner and then put the darkest color in the eyeshadow quad over it to create a smokey look.

I went in knowing that I wanted my look created around this lipstick. I love this color so much. It's very fun to wear and stays on forever without drying your lips out. I ate, I drank and it did not come off, also it didn't get on my teeth which is wonderful because that is not cute.
