American Apparel was started in 1989 by Dov Charney and they mainly made basic t-shirts. Today they still make basic t-shirts a long with many other basics (and not so basics). AA makes a lot of clothes geared towards dancers and clothes inspired by the '80s. I love their fashion forward, statement making clothes that will fit with almost any personality.
